Position Profile:

UOWD is seeking applications to fill the position of Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisor. The Student Recruitment Advisor, plans and runs the student recruitment activities in accordance with agreed business plan and to actively develop and expand the customer base.

The position holder will also be responsible for the performance of all student recruitment activities in the assigned market to achieve maximum profitability and growth. He/She will provide advice, guidance and assistance relating to the application and documentation for the admissions process.

Successful candidates must be:

  • Willing to work off-campus
  • Ready to travel to a wide range of countries
  • Prepared to work as a team member

Experience & Qualification:
  • An appropriate tertiary qualification in marketing or relevant area
  • Two years in education sector
  • Admissions and recruitment or customer service experience

Essentail and Desirable Criteria:


  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Be able to speak clearly, persuasively and authoritatively
  • Ability to perform on the spot problem solving and make sound decisions or recommendations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to tactfully and politely deal with difficult customer situations
  • Appreciation of cultural diversity
  • Good knowledge of admission requirements and procedures for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
  • Strong knowledge of social media and e-marketing techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (mainly Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with CRM and student information systems.
  • Reasonable analytical skills.Ability to communicate fluently in English and Arabic Languages (written and spoken)

  • Knowledge of marketing channels and tertiary education systems
  • Experience with inbound and/or outbound call centers
  • Experience with sales, and/or conversion techniques
  • Experience with working in an educational environment
  • Knowledge of a second foreign language will be an added advantage
Benefits & Remuneration:

Successful candidates will receive a remuneration package which includes an attractive tax free salary ranging from AED 96,000 to 108,000 per annum, five weeks of paid leave per year, annual air ticket, private medical insurance for self and eligible dependents, life & disability policy, professional development assistance, education allowance for up to 3 eligible children, professional development and fee waiver for self and dependents looking to pursue higher studies.
